The second branch of Aquinas College of Higher Studies, Waga Regional Centre which was established in the premises of Holy Rosary Church, Welikanna Waga in 2016, moved to Hanwella town in December 2020 on the decision made by Vice Chancellor/Rector Very Re. Dr . Susith Mark Lal Silva and the management to maximize the enrollment.
Hanwella Branch commenced its academic operations enrolling its first intake for the Certificate Level Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Intermediate Level of Diploma in English Language and Literature in December 2020. Similar academic intakes were then carried out both in February and April 2021.
Though Hanwella Branch is situated on the fringes of Colombo district, it provides easy transport access to the students in Gampaha, Kegalle and Rathnapura districts. We are a committed unit to our vision and mission of being a premier educational provider and skill developer by facilitating the youth of the nation with adequate opportunities for higher education.
