The Faculty is composed of three major sections: Faculty of Agriculture, School of Agriculture and department of professional studies in agriculture according to the standards and the qualification level it offers.
The School of Agriculture is regidtered under TVEC and offers two diplomas namely, National Diploma in Agriculture Production Technology (NVQ5) and Higher National Diploma in Agriculture Production Technology (NVQ 6) accredited by TVEC. The course is designed to produce middle level technical personnel. NVQ 5 or 6 Diplomates have great opportunities to apply for state and private sector, supervisory and managerial level jobs.
Department of Professional studies in Agriculture offers five professional courses, Diploma in Plantation Management, Diploma in Floriculture and Landscaping, Diploma in Livestock Management (Animal Husbandry), Diploma in Agriculture Engineering, Diploma in Food science and Technology. These programmes of study have attracted many students who are employed in Agro-business and those who wish to pursue in the field of Agriculture.
The Faculty of Agriculture offers BSc. (Hons) in Agro. Industry Management degree approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC). The Academic staff of the faculty provides the best academic and professional learning experiences to the students. All study programmes are blended with modern learning techniques, residential workshops, lab and field practicals etc. Quality of the diplomas and degree is assured by the TVEC and UGC.
